D-Cycloserine is a partial agonist of NMDA receptors at the glycine site. D-Cycloserine has experimentally been shown to facilitate activation of the receptor and thereby improve memory and cognition. An amino acid analog, D-Cycloserine inhibits bacterial cell wall biosynthesis.
